If two players are in this area, then the screen will say "Objective Contested" and will turn red, and the progress bar will halt. If you down this person with gun/knife, kill them as a terror or lethal injection, or they leave, then you can recapture the objective. The progress bar will not decay even when the objective is contested, unless everyone leaves the area.Note that both innocents and infecteds can get any item. Innocents can try to get blood bags to deny infecteds from getting them. The same can be said for infecteds, except with cameras, inspection kits, and antidotes.Items will spawn randomly at predetermined objective points, but the same quantity will spawn per floor every game.Holding Q displays objectives on your current floor. Objectives currently being taken and their progress (except for escape and staircase up) are always shown even without Q.Camera- Access by hitting '2'. If you left click, this will slow terrors down long enough for you to get away. While stunned, terrors may not eat you. The slow/stun lasts for about 1 second, so you may need to use multiple camera shots to get away. Each camera pickup has 10% charge, and 1% charge is used per snapchat (10 flashes total). 2 on first floor, 1 on third floor. Looks like a camera.Inspection kit- Use by hitting "c" while looking at someone. This will tell you if said person is infected or innocent. Infecteds can use this too; however, infecteds already know who is infected and who is innocent at the beginning of the game. 1 on first floor, 1 on third floor. Looks like a radar/walkie talkie.Body Armor- Getting this reduces damage against guns and knives. 1 on first floor, 1 on third floor. Looks like body armor. Also, infected can't eat you with it, so that's pretty good. Cause staying alive is a good thing.Key- This is used after blackout starts to open the door leading to the next floor, i.e. after the first blackout the first floor key can be used, after the second blackout the second floor key can be used. Note that it does not have to be blackout when you unlock the door. The door you need to unlock will appear when you have the key. Unlock with "E" when you have the key. The "Floor up" objective will appear after the key is used. Important to note is that you can steal the key by downing/killing the person who has the key. 1 on first floor, 1 on second floor, 1 on the third floor (to open one of the exit doors). Yellow outline, and looks like a key. The person holding the key will have a yellow key floating above their head.Blood Bag- This item completely fills up the terror bar for the infected that grabs it. 1 on second floor, 1 on third floor. Looks like a bag with a syringe on it.Lethal Injection- This item is currently the only way that innocents can kill infecteds. However, innocents can also kill other innocents and infecteds can use it to kill innocents (and even their infected buddy, but don't do that unless you have a really good reason to). After getting it, press "c" when looking at someone and they will die. They will instantly die, without a bleedout timer! 1 on second floor, 1 on third floor. Looks like a skull.Antidote- This item will save an innocent eaten by a terror . You may have noticed going into bleedout when a terror jumps you. It is at this time, and this time only, that you can be saved by an antidote (8 seconds). Important to note is that the person you save is by default innocent (you can never save a terror). When you have the antidote and someone gets eaten, an objective marker will appear on your screen as well as the distance. If you press "c" when you are at them, they don't die! 1 on first floor. Looks like a syringe above an EKG heart pulse (p-wave, etc).Tracker- Pick a person, and track where they go! They will always have a bullseye/target objective shown. 1 on first floor. Looks like a target.Floor up- This is where the staircase leading to the next floor is. It only appears when a key has been used to unlock the way. Looks like a staircase with an arrow pointing up on it.Escape Door- There are 2 escape doors on the third floor, denoted by a door with a person running out. Once the escape doors are triggered, THE LIGHTS GO OUT PERMANENTLY. It takes about 10 seconds for a door to open, after which innocents can press "e" on it to escape from the asylum. Terrors can also trigger an escape door to prematurely make it dark forever.Logistics(基礎規則/觀念應用)Logistics isn't exactly the right word, but artistic license. *shrug*This section will entail some structural aspects of the game that will help in your first playthrough.1a. At the start of the game, you are placed somewhere on the first floor along with 5 other people. After a quick intro in which you hyperventilate and pick up your gun, a large "INNOCENT" or "INFECTED" will appear in the center bottom of your screen. 2 people are "infected". Unless you are infected, you will not know who these 2 are.1b. You are competing for the most points per team (infected vs innocent). Proceeding with the game will earn you points (as will getting objectives, downing the other team, escaping etc). Note that downing an innocent as an innocent will not gain you points, because those points will be removed at the point overview screen post-game.2. On the screen will be large numbers denoting the armistice period. At 7 seconds (well, supposed to be 7 seconds anyway), the doors are opened so objectives can be rushed but you can still not shoot anyone until the timer reaches 0.3. Innocents are trying to escape the asylum, whereas the infected (a.k.a. terrors) are trying to eat/disfigure/destroy (use your imagination) the innocents.4a. Alt opens up VOIP (in-game voice talk). Open in-game chat by pressing 'y' (default). Infecteds have the option of hitting tab, which will change the white bar on the left to red, which means you are typing only to your infected buddy.4b. Holding G brings up a radial menu. You move your mouse to what you want to say and release G based on what you want to say. Important to note is that you must be staring directly at the person if you want to say "I'm with..." or "... is infected/innocent", or the ... will say "nobody" instead of their name. Also, it will always say "nobody" when lights go out.5. In the UI at the top, you will see time remaining and time until blackout at the top (unless it is blackout, in which case it will show blackout time remaining). During blackout, infecteds can turn into terrors. If you are an infected, the red bar around your red infection sign denotes how long you can remain a terror. Press "T" to transform, and after a short delay, you will turn into a terror!6a. Infecteds can kill innocents in 2 ways, the most direct of which is turning into a terror and dismantling them. If an innocent is in range, the terror can click and they will go into the killing animation. Items that are pertinent to this- Camera, Blood Bag, Antidote, Armor.6b. You have two weapons on you: a pistol and combat knife. You have two pistol clips, and each clip has 9 bullets (18 total). If you run out of bullets (and believe me, you probably will multiple times), you can restock at bullet replacing stations. These stations eventually run out of bullets- if they do, find another one or attempt to survive without em. Usually, 3 accurate shots will bring someone down from full health (45 dmg each, everyone has 100hp), or 2 shots and a knife.6c. Getting shot/knifed down does not kill you! Instead, you are brought to the ground, and respawn in 10 seconds (+5s if you are in a clearly discernible radius around an objective).6d. Shooting terrors will slow them down a little bit, but if you resort to this in any aspect you're doomed. Guns/knives are only really affective against humans.7. An objective/item is something that helps players survive/kill off the innocents. Look at the section "Objectives/Items" for more details.8. There are 3 floors total, and you are starting on the 1st (ground if you're in England, but I'll be using American format for this guide) floor.
