The International Agricultural Research Conference is an annual event hosted by the Centre for International Agricultural Research (CIAR) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) to release its think-tank products, promote dialogue and information exchange between multi-stakeholders and build partnerships for overseas agricultural development and cooperation.
The 2nd International Agricultural Research Conference will be jointly hold by CIAR and the Department of International Cooperation of CAAS on September 26, 2018 in Beijing, China.

Program
Morning:
Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speeches. CIAR will release its latest research outcome about the global market analysis for 19 major agricultural products and the B&R Country Report on agricultural development and cooperation for 65 countries.
Afternoon:
1. Thematic Speeches and Roundtable Discussion (Policy Coordination, Science and Technology Cooperation, and Global Trade and Investment
We welcome the attendance from government units, research institution and enterprises to the Conference to have information sharing and academic exchange with our invited speakers from the ministries of Chinese government, Gates Foundation, GFAR and major corporations engaged in agricultural overseas development, etc.
2. Concurrent event: Food Security and Global Potato Market Analysis at No. 5 Conference Room, Agricultural Information Institute, CAAS
Registration
The conference is free of registration fee. Participants shall cover the expenses of travel and accommodation by themselves. Invited Speakers will be compensated for the travel and/or accommodation cost. Please confirm your attendance by filling the attached form and send it to ciar@caas.cn before September 15, 2018.
