国际马铃薯中心(CIP)拟向全国公开招募一名充满活力、应变能力强的专业研究人员,为国际农业研究磋商组织研究项目(CRP)出资的田间试验提供支持。CRP项目包括块根、块茎和蕉类作物(RTB);水、土地和生态系统(WLE)及气候变化;农业和粮食安全(CCAFS)。

职位简介:该职位的工作地点在中国北京,上级为科研主管,向利马的生产系统与环境子项目汇报。主要工作是支持上述CRP项目试验的开展。
主要职责:
——开展模拟缺水灌溉试验(隔沟交替灌溉试验)
——通过生态生理评估,分析植株对干旱的响应
——开展试验,得出块根块茎作物生长模型的各项参数
——记录、分析及总结试验数据
选拔标准:
——农学硕士或博士学位,研究侧重农业、生物科学的应用与集成
——至少两年参与田间灌溉试验、农艺与生物评估及微气象管理的经验
——能够在多学科的环境中工作,如有参与多学科项目的经验更佳
——拥有项目管理技能和中高级英语口语与写作能力
——能适应频繁出差

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a dynamic and resourceful research professional to support technical implementation of field experiments in China financed by the following CGIAR Research Programs (CRP): Roots, Tubers and Bananas (RTB), Water Land and Ecosystems (WLE), and Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS).
The Center: CIP is a not-for-profit international agricultural research-for-development organization with a focus on potato, sweetpotato, and Andean roots and tubers. Its vision is of roots and tubers improving the lives of the poor. CIP is dedicated to achieving food security, improved well-being, and gender equity for poor people in root and tuber farming and food systems of the developing world. CIP works with partners to contribute high quality science, technology, and capacity strengthening for sustainable science-based solutions. CIP is headquartered in Lima, Peru, with staff and activities in over 30 locations across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. CIP is a member of the CGIAR Consortium. CGIAR is a global agriculture research partnership for a food secure future. Its science is carried out by the 15 research centers who are members of the CGIAR Consortium in collaboration with hundreds of partner organizations.
The Position: This position will be based in Beijing, China – under the supervision of the Research Manager - and will report to Production System and the Environment Sub-Program in Lima, Peru. This position will support the implementation of different trials to contribute to the CRPs listed above.
Duties and Accountabilities:
- Carry out irrigation experiments simulating water scarcity (partial root-zone drying and deficit irrigation trials)
- Analyze plant response to drought through ecophysiological assessments
- Implement trials with the aim to parameterize growth models in roots and tubers
- Record, analyze, and summarize the experimental data
Selection Criteria:
· Master or Ph.D degree in Agricultural Technology Management emphasizes the application and integration of agricultural/biological sciences
· At least two years of experience participating in the implementation of field irrigation trials and agronomic/biological assessments, micro-meteorological management
· Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, prior experience participating in multidisciplinary projects is a plus
· Project management skillsIntermediate to advance level written and spoken English is relevant.
· Able to travel frequently
