乔治·孟德尔（Gregor Mendel，1822-1884）
　　奥地利遗传学家，遗传学奠基人。1866年，他发表“植物杂交试验论文”，首次提出生物性状是由遗传因子控制的论点，并揭示出生物遗传的两个基本规律——分离定律和自由组合定律，即“孟德尔第一定律”和“孟德尔第二定律”。
